DAVID RABINOWITZ
Operations Manager
David Rabinowitz started his professional career as a small business owner after his stint at UT here in Austin. His background with computer hardware and software during that time made him a good fit for several technology, support and project management positions with companies like USAA, Southwest Research Institute and the Armstrong Laboratory of the U.S. Air Force. He came on in 2015 as Office Manager to fill an immediate need, and has found that the environment of Sweeten CPA and the day to day interactions he has with our clients gives him immense satisfaction and the opportunity to exercise his wit and passion for problem solving. He is also one heck of a poker player.
Lori Wasson has over two decades of experience in accounting, including ten years managing her husband’s roofing company, giving her an intimate understanding of small businesses and their books. As Sweeten CPA’s bookkeeper, she wrangles accounts receivable, 1099s, POAs, and many other bookkeeping and administrative tasks. In her spare time, she loves snuggling up with a warm blanket, her fluffy cats, and a warm and fuzzy novel.
LORI WASSON
Accounts Receivable Manager
Mandi is a born and raised Austinite! Her previous years in customer service, from a restaurant to an interpreting call center, taught her the importance of customer relations. She graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in 2018. Her degree in psychology and love of personality tests fuels her love of people. She is excited to apply that love to the world of accounting! In her spare time you can find her at crafting stores buying yet another scrapbook to fill. Current count is 4!
MANDI RUTH
Special Projects & Office Manager
Alyssa joined our team in April of 2023. She's a Wisconsinite who found herself wanting to start a new adventure in Texas! She has prior experience in customer service and is always seeking ways she can help support her team and take on new projects, while utilizing her organizational skills. She enjoys the outdoors, but is also an explorer for the next binge-worthy show.
ALYSSA JONES
Office Assistant
Rachael joined the Sweeten team in January 2024. Originally from Arizona, she started developing her career in Austin, Texas in 2018. She has since gained experience in administrative and front desk roles. With a passion for helping others and bringing a positive attitude to every experience, she feels that Sweeten is the perfect fit. Between her days at the office, she is voraciously reading, conquering board games, or doting on her two pet ferrets and cat.
RACHAEL ROGERS
Office Assistant
Devanie joined our team in January 2024. Originally from Oregon, she planted roots in Texas in 2022. She has prior experience in sales, client experience, and multi-level office support. She prides herself on having a keen emotional intelligence that helps her connect with people on a deeper level, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. She enjoys discovering the Texas outdoors (through October-early June), thrift shopping, and you can usually find her at one of the many local coffee shops working on her next writing project.
